Boasting a decade of unprecedented success, the national event is now considered one of the finest on the world gourmet stage with the Cape Town leg rolling out the red carpet for famed foodies Buddy Valastro, of the hit TLC show, Cake Boss, winner of MasterChef America, Whitney Miller, Reza Mahammad, Ariana Bundy and CBeebies Mister Maker, all of whom will be hosted at the Cape Grace Hotel and whose energetic and charismatic demonstrations, are predicted to be a roaring highlight of the Show.
The Chefs in Action Theatre, in association with Afrox Handigas, Maserati, Woolworths and the Cape Grace is where celebrity chefs will be whipping up their signature recipes. These demonstrations are expected to have the audience simultaneously captivated, taking notes, roaring with laughter and desperate to get to the kitchen. Demonstrations sell out fast, so make sure you book your tickets early.

Get Fresh with BBC Hands on Workshops, in association with DSTV, Woolworths, Cape Grace Hotel and Elba, are conducted in small groups of 12, which allows for personal attention from celebrity chefs while preparing their personal recipes with the freshest, highest quality ingredients supplied by Woolworths. Tickets to participate include everything, from a kitted out workstation and apron to all the superb ingredients.
Mister Maker is a real life character who gets inspiration to make art from everything around him. Whether in his own fantasy art room that he has created or off around the country meeting mini makers in his super-cool hand crafted Maker mobile, prepare to expect the unexpected as pictures, objects and things that he has made come to life.
Now CBeebies’ favourite making-man Mister Maker is packing up his craft box and bringing some special making magic to South Africa when he makes an arty appearance at the Good Food & Wine Show in Cape Town from the 24th to the 27th of May.
Fun and imaginative Mister Maker presents the ultimate children's arts and crafts show on CBeebies which finds amazing new ways to inspire children to enjoy art at home.
